Code Originality & Ethical Conduct

No Plagiarism
All participating startups, developers, and students must ensure that the source code, designs, and solutions submitted are their original work. Copying or using unauthorized source code from other participants or third-party proprietary sources is strictly prohibited.
Respect for IP
Participants, investors, and company representatives must respect the Intellectual Property (IP) of others. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of another participant's code or innovative ideas will lead to immediate disqualification.
Open Source Usage
If any open-source libraries or frameworks are used, they must be properly documented and used in compliance with their respective licenses.
Liability
The organizers (Cyber Crime Branch, Ahmedabad City Police) shall not be held responsible for any intellectual property disputes arising between participants, investors, or third parties.

Note: Any participant found guilty of plagiarism or ethical misconduct will be disqualified from KANAD S.H.I.E.L.D. Hackathon 2026 with immediate effect.
